Switch on the Bulb Tree and then watch the five sound-reactive plexi-glass lights react to sound and music all around them. The louder the sounds, the more vibrant the lights will glow. The more staccato(*) the sounds, the faster the lights will flash. Control the lights with your voice, clap your hands, play your favourite song, turn on the radio, bring it along to a Saturday Night Disco.

There is a sensitivity dial on the back. Set it to maximum and the bulb tree will react to small sounds like a pin dropping, or to zero and you might have to invite MC Hammer round to get the lights flashing. Then again, some people just want a quiet relaxing mood light, so there is also an auto function which will allow the bulbs to flash in their own pattern without any loud music having to play in the background. Perfect for those quiet evenings when all you really want to do is read a book with a funky light.
